It seems that every year there is a new hot toy or game that everyone just must have. Recently, the gaming world was taken by storm with the introduction of the Sony Playstation 3, the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii, all around the same time. It was a gamer's heaven! The Wii is the newest video game console released by Nintendo, and is the most celebrated console that the company has ever produced. The Wii gaming system has many things that make it stand out and consumers enjoy that about it. One unique quality of the Wii gaming system is the fact that the games let you become part of the action. This is done by using a combination of motion detectors to allow the players motions to be copied into the games. This makes it so the player is in the game.

Wii Music Is Identifiable

Many of the games that are associated with the Wii gaming system are the classic Nintendo games. Theses games incorporate well known characters and Wii music that people recognize. By taking the Wii music that is used in some well known games from Nintendo's gaming beginnings, and using that same Wii music in the new game console, the classic games are immediately recognized.

Some classic Wii music that is in current games offered through the Wii gaming system include the entire Mario Brothers selection. Mario Brothers has long been a staple in the Nintendo family; and their Wii music is very well known. This Wii music is so recognized; the Nintendo Company also put it in their Wii Bowling game as background music. For many players, noticing the theme music in one game that is from another very popular game is fun and feels comfortable.

Wii Music As A Game

The Nintendo Company is also bringing to the Wii gaming system a whole new series of games. Much like the sports bundle that Nintendo created to initially introduce the Wii gaming system, this new bundle will put together some similar themed items. This new bundle is tentatively set to be released in Japan sometime in the summer of 2007.

One of the games that will be included is the Wii Music game. This Wii Music game will let the players create their own symphony music. As this game is new, it is not exactly sure how the game will be played. As Nintendo has a reputation as a quality game design company, the Wii Music game will probably be a quality game.

The Wii gaming system will continue to be a consumer friendly gaming system. As Nintendo continues to add exciting and interactive games to their selection, more and more of the games and their music will be associated with the Nintendo brand. Much like the Mario series of games, these too will have consumers saying, “Isn't that the theme from that game?”

Nintendo has a brilliant new gaming system in the Wii. And while it can still run the older Game Cube games, it is designed for the newer Wii games. Nintendo has borrowed some of the soundtracks from its older games and updated them for the Wii. This makes the Wii music instantly recognizable to users of the earlier gaming consoles.
